"Violinist David Nebel steals the show..."
- Strad Magazine (Feb 2016) -
“Violinist David Nebel steals the show in a breathtaking rendition of Ernst’s Othello Fantasy” recognized the Strad Magazine (Feb 2016) in its report on the CD “Italian Journey”. The CD was recorded by the LGT Young Soloists under the renowned label RCA Red Seal (Sony Music).
David (born 1996) started to play violin at the age of five. From 2003 to 2009 David was studying at the Conservatory of Zürich. At many recitals, his technical talent and musicality became apparent very early. A young violinist with promising perspective was the headline of an article in the Neue Zürcher Zeitung describing David's first solo concert with the Camerata Zürich orchestra. This was at his age of 9 when he played Vivaldi's Four Seasons with high musicality and stunning technique. In the same year, David won the first price (with honours) of the Swiss Youth Music Competition and gave a recital at the Tonhalle Zürich.
David performed at the inauguration of the festival “Classical Havana” the violin concerto of Mendelssohn as well as Bach`s double concerto for two violins. He was accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Havana.
In this newest recording of LGT Young Soloists, David plays Valse Scherzo of P. I. Tchaikovsky. The CD was produced in Januray 2017 under the label RCA Red Seal Sony Music. The CD will be published June 2017.
